GWAS Annual General Meeting 2025

I hereby give notice of a GWAS Extraordinary General Meeting which take place on Sunday 23rd March at 1.15pm and that the Annual General Meeting of the Grand Western Archery Society will take place at West Buckland Village Hall, West Buckland, Somerset TA21 9NA at 1.45pm on Sunday 23rd March 2025.

Attached is the Calling Notice and Agenda for the EGM and the Calling Notice and Agenda for the AGM, draft Minutes of the last AGM, Treasurers Report including Tournament breakdown, GWAS Constitution with the proposed changes clearly marked, a briefing note explaining why the changes are required and Council / Officers nomination form.

Please feel free to complete nominations for all posts and return within the stated time.

We are possibly looking for a Junior Rep and a representative to attend the Archery England committee meetings.

This may seem daunting but we are a friendly team working together to make the region a successful one.

Tea, Coffee and Cake will be available after the AGM, hopefully see you all there!

Welcome to the Grand Western Archery Society website.  The Society was founded in 1861 with the purpose of promoting and encouraging the sport of archery as well as providing a service to archers across the region.

The Region consists of four county organisations and details of local clubs can be found on the County websites.

The Society is affiliated to Archery GB and Archery England
